About the Project
- Tackled health inequality introduced by data bias in AI health applications.
- Researched and developed a robust, bias-aware skin lesion classification system validated with NHS data.
- Supported a collaboration with Prof. Toby P. Breckon, Dr Noura Al Moubayed, and Dr Amir Atapour-Abarghouei at Durham University, as well as the industry partner Evergreen Health Solutions Limited.
- Recruited a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow Dr Thomas Winterbottom for research and development.
